Why Slab Prep Decides the Outcome

Nearly every home in Lehigh Acres is on a concrete slab, and no slab is perfectly flat. Large-format tile is unforgiving of that: the bigger the tile, the more a small dip shows up as an edge you can feel with your foot. Manufacturers publish flatness tolerances for a reason, and meeting them means grinding high spots and filling low ones before any tile is set. Can you install over my existing tile?

Sometimes, but usually we recommend against it. It raises the floor height at doors and transitions and you inherit whatever is wrong underneath. We will tell you when it is genuinely a reasonable option.

How long does flooring installation take?

A few days to about two weeks depending on square footage and how much slab preparation is needed. Prep is the variable, not the installation.

Do you move the furniture?

We can, and we will price it in the estimate. Larger jobs go faster and cleaner when rooms are cleared ahead of time, and we will tell you which rooms need to be empty and when.

Do you do flooring as a standalone job?
